XR Mural & Exhibition
A collaborative campaign with the italian coffee brand Lavazza. A mural in downtown Reykjavík with interactive XR elements, a 3D short shown during DesignMarch.
María interprets the festival’s theme “the source” in her work Roots and Flow. The piece is multifaceted and is presented as an interactive (AR) mural at Laugavegur 3, as a paper take-away cup and digital video. With an abstract approach, María dives into the storytelling of coffee; from a raw material to liquid energy. In the volatility of everyday life, we forget to stop and consider what lies behind this abiding drink that plays such a major supporting role in our daily lives. Free from conventional representation, María expresses the process through texture, movement and flow.
